I will tell you first off that I did not take any pictures because honestly, I thought it was going to turn into a big mess. I was a little frightened of the resin.
I followed this tutorial over at Make and Takes exactly and she took beautiful pictures.
The one problem was that I could not find the Diamond Glaze. The only thing I could find was the old fashion resin that you had to mix yourself. ( Hence my fear and almost certainty that this project was going to be a mess.)
But, I will say, even with using a slightly more difficult resin it was a surprisingly easy project. I made one for myself and my sister. The resin is not at all hard to work with and just takes a little patience and a light hand. It does not run all over ( well not too much) and after it dries thoroughly, any drips can be cut and sanded off easily.
Here is the only picture I have and it was taken with my camera phone, so it stinks. My sister loved it. ( She has to, right?) But I have had people stop me and ask about my necklace, so strangers would not lie.
In either case, I will be doing this project again for certain. And this time, I will take good pictures.
