I followed Show Tell Share directions and tips exactly and I came out with this cute Lego brick cake for LJs 8th birthday.
It was very easy and for my first cake ever, super easy. And this is coming not from a crafter, baker point of view. This is easy from a non-cook- messy house- throw things together and hope it comes out-easy kind of person. Anyone can do this. And the bonus, it really tastes good too.
Here is a second cake I made for our family celebration. Its not great by any means, but know what? Who cares! This "bad" cake tastes great and all my family thought I was a rock star.
This is one thing you should try this year. Go on, its a new year, time to try new things.

I've tried fondant one time, I can never seem to get the one stingy wrinkle out. Grrr. It definitely does look better & more put together then a basic frosted cake. Great job!!!
