Spring Planting time

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts® for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.... oh wait, that was my typing homework.  This post is about my garden "homework".  For me, since I live in California, I have a bit more freedom with what I can plan and when; but now really is the time for all good men( and women) to come to the aid of their garden =)  This is the time to start getting your garden plans in order.  Start indoor seedlings if you have the space and start preparing your soil so it is ready for your spring and summer plantings.

Every year I have big plans for my little garden.  I like to try something new each year.  Last year we did a salsa container garden; but planted way to many hot peppers.  (There are really only so many uses for jalapenos.) So I have to rethink the salsa garden.  I always devote one container to herbs.  You can never go wrong with fresh herbs and they add so much to any dish.    Even if you have a small container garden like me,  you can plant some great herbs.  This year I am going to do chives, cilantro, and parsley to start.  I will add basil later as that tends to like it a little warmer yet.   I am going to try Miracle Grow Expand 'n Gro.  I read about this new stuff and I think it will  give me an instant green thumb and my little veggies will be huge! Here is a coupon for you if you want to give it a try. Expand ‘n Gro™

Expand 'n Gro expands 3X the size when mixed with water and  will feed the soil for 6 months.  It holds 50% more water than regular potting soil, which is great for someone who occasionally*ahem* forgets to water regularly. It releases water as the plants need it to help stop over or under watering.

I can not wait to get my pots started.  With Miracle-Gro Expand 'n Gro special formula; how could I not have big, beautiful garden this year?
