Fencing and Skateboards and Laser Tag, Oh My!

I have been struggling lately with how much LJ is growing up.  He would not do any Easter Egg hunts this year because those are for babies.
True!
Not one single egg was hunted this year and it seems I am the only one bummed out.

A man-child has replaced my baby.  This man-child has opinions which he has no qualms about sharing ad nauseam.  He has demands.   This man-child wants to do things and go places and do more things and eat. Oh, how it eats.  I just clean up the kitchen and it' s hungry again.   I think LJ truly burns off the food before I have even made it for him.

Last Saturday started out with fencing.....

 

moved on to skateboarding....




and ended the day at a birthday party at a paintball/laser tag place.  I had to sleep a whole day to make up for these activities; but the man-child was back up the next day ready to do it all over again.
I miss the egg hunts and the "simple" things; but I have no doubt this next stage is going to be cah-razy!
I better go nap and rest up.
