I hate saying it yet again... but where the heck do my days go? Summer is flying by!(Although if you listen to the moans and sighs from LJ he is sooo bored.)
He spends his day at his school at the summer "camp". They way you hear him tell it, I am dropping him off each morning to meet his doom; yet when I pick him up he is boy stinky, laughing and dirty from catching grasshoppers. (Which bite? and he named Osmosis.)
We are not planning a vacation more "staycations" instead. Last weekend we went up to a lake near by to do some geocaching. It was great fun. (If you have not tried this; you must. I highly recommend it.)
One was hidden of a bridge middle way across the lake. It was in a metal key box attached to the underside of the bridge railing. LJ reached out to grab it and .....plink... off if pops and drops the several hundred feet down to the lake below.
We were leaning and looking and the park ranger pulled up to remind us not to jump.
We were hiking about looking for another when we ran into a snake. LJ was thrilled. ( I am not a super fan of the snakes....I really.had. no. interest. thankyouverymuch stop pushing me at it!)
